So, I thought i'd throw this out there and see if anyone can help.

As i've mentioned in my previous post, i'm lucky enough to have been selected as one of the 10 filmmakers for this year's Scottish Digital Shorts programme, organised by Digicult. Right now, i'm at the beginning of the story development stage of the whole process and it'll be a few months until I know if my film will even be one of the 4 selected to be made! But there's no harm in putting the feelers out in terms of pre-production planning and seeing what the artist community of Scotland has to offer.

I'm hoping to make a stop-motion animated short, because...well, i like to move puppets milimetres at a time and then take pictures of them. But I have no clue where to begin, looking for a space to do all that in.

So, kind, sexy and incredibly witty CenSta members...do you have any ideas of where I could do this? Or are you someone who has spare studio space avaliable? I'd be looking to have it for about 4 months, from April, with the potential of having a generator (which we'd pay for) to help reduce light flickering on set, when shooting. It would also have to big enough to hold two-three animators and lights.

Oh, and if the space could be hired for a low amount, that would be amazing (you know how these things go). Even better, if it was free! That's pushing it a bit, isn't it? But that would be ideal, with a big perk in exchange as an incentive.
