scarlet stroud

just preparing to begin my artists residency at Stroud museum next week.. I will be based in the museum on and off over aperiod of three months making work related to the collection there ... my workspace just happens to be the museum pub !

i am looking at Stroud red cloth and its history and am particularily interested in textile trade ..i hope to work with photographer Ali Bell to document the process.. and i have ideas of working with text and collaborating with a writer/poet
