About Me

Allistair Burt is one half of "Hole in my Pocket", a dynamic art/ architecture duo whoser multi-disciplinary antics include film, painting, sculpture, design, architecture, illustration and travelling around Scotland with an air hostess trolley. Their first project together saw them win the Pigeonhole City competition run by GLAS in conjunction with The Lighthouse in Glasgow and judged by Cedric Price.

In recent times they have directed some short films for Channel 4, written some mini books, participated in various art exhibitions, created the Small World Experiment, designed a Storytelling Machine and tried to sort out the MP's expense fiasco through a creative solution (Common of Houses).

Bascially they jump around from one project to another depending on what interests them at any particular time.

To find out more about our further adventures and for full details of our other projects then please visit www.holeinmypocket.com or visit my blog for a more regularly updated list of activity.

The members of Hole in my Pocket are Scott Airlie and Allistair Burt.

Allistair and Ann Nisbet are also the founders of Southside Happenings - the website for all thats good south of the river in Glasgow.

We (Hole in my Pocket) have been asked to design a new exhibition for the Arches, opening night 10 September. We weren't sure what the theme of our show would be, but a couple of ideas we didn't develop the last time, coupled with the Pope's visit to Glasgow in September has given us a direction t...
