About Me

A graduate of The Glasgow School of Art, Eleanor is inspired by 'found objects' and the design potential of recycling furniture in a creative way and specialises in lovingly reworking discarded furniture into playful upholstered design pieces.

Working under the name of Fun Makes Good, her debut collection is inspired by contemporary architectural forms and fragmented shapes.

Fun Makes Good combines detailed embroidery with bold fragmented patterns and unusual colour combinations to produce striking upholstery designs in luxurious wool, leathers and hand dyed cotton. The result is a range of unique statement pieces for design-conscious consumers who take an interest in the sustainable credentials of their home furnishings.
