About Me
I am a Glasgow based artist filmmaker working with video and animation. My work usually involves a combination of animation and film footage that I manipulate to produce a kind of moving collage. I use mixed media to create fictional worlds where images transform into abstraction. My work references a range of subjects; from contemporary social issues and political systems, to notions of escapism.

According to family folklore, as a
toddler I'd sit in front of my
mum's washing machine and watch
her colourful garments spin round
and round. I don't have much
recollection of this twee scene
but I guess from an early age I
demonstrated an interest in the
'moving image', in all its strange
forms.
