Starter for 6 is an enterprise training programme that supports up and coming creative entrepreneurs across Scotland. 

Cultural Enterprise Office  (CEO) is delivering Starter for 6 in 2010 and 2011 with funding provided by Creative Scotland's Innovation Fund.

The Main Programmme runs once a year across 6 locations in Scotland.  It offers successful participants the opportunity to develop their innovative business idea, product or service via an intensive training programme. On completion of the programme, participants also have the opportunity to pitch for up to £10,000 of funding.

Submissions for Starter for 6 Main Programme have closed.  However, you can now apply for our brand new programme, Starter for 6 Fast Track.

Starter for 6 Fast Track complements the Starter for 6 Main Programme by offering a five week intensive training programme (instead of four months) along with another opportunity to pitch for up to £10,000.

Our Roadshow events provide the additional opportunity to come and hear what the programme has to offer and how you could benefit from it.  Johanna Basford, one of our successful participants, will also be there to illustrate how her business has benefited from the programme and how yours could too.
