Senior Designer at ISO, I've been working on various aspects of Central Station since it's early development. I wanted to work on Central Station because I'm interested in all this cross-disciplinary, collaborative, creative stuff... it's what I do, and I'm interested in how other people do it. There's great people and great work going on which isn't always getting the exposure it deserves – there's endless amounts of latent talent, new ideas, and potential collaborations.
When I'm not at ISO, I do collaborative projects under the banner A Visual Agency, and run The Press with Edwin Pickstone at the SWG3 studios in Glasgow. I also occasionally do visiting lecturing at The Glasgow School of Art.
I've worked in lots of different ways for lots of different types of clients (including Nike, IKEA, Tennent's, SFA, Sub Club, Glasgow International, Glasgow Art Fair, various musicians and artists). I'm currently involved in a long-term, multi-disciplinary project, led by public artists Sans Facon to consult on and create a public arts strategy around the watershed in the city of Calgary in Canada.
In 2006 I won Young Designer of the Year, and I've also won various Grand Prixs, Chairman's Awards and prizes for print and experiential work.
